Uni helps put whamalot into Spamalot
Published on 07 October, 2010
When the knights of the round table go clip-clopping onto Rockhampton's Pilbeam Theatre stage at the end of October to present Monty Python's Spamalot, it will be with the help of several links to CQUniversity...
While University sponsorship is helping to bring the renowned Broadway show to life, a range of students, staff and alumni are involved in the production.
Cast members include current music student Justin Stewart, engineering graduate Adam Van Nunen, former performing arts student Dean Netherwood, nursing graduate Melanie March and communications staff member Marc Barnbaum.
Crew members include IT project staff member Dr Elizabeth Tansley (stage manager), Environmental Health lecturer Lisa Bricknell (photography) and performing arts/teaching graduate Meegan Fox (choreographer), while University Rehabilitation Co-ordinator Sue Earle is part of the hard-working team preparing costumes and Kerrod Wells from ITD is helping backstage.
