The way communities are designed affects the health of its residents, according to a CQU researcher.

Dr Mitch Duncan will this week tell a Rockhampton audience that street patterns, variation in land uses and the number of people residing in an area are key features that impact on the behaviour of residents.

Rockhampton residents are invited to attend and participate in Dr Duncan's FREE discussion on "The Influence of Community Design on the Health of Residents" on Friday May 30, at CQU Rockhampton, building 18 LG.07, from 1pm to 2pm.
