Grace Jones, budding photographer
Grace Jones dreams of learning how to take professional photos and of meeting people from a range of backgrounds and life experiences.

The Grade 11 Rockhampton Grammar School student is currently doing work experience with CQUniversity photographer/filmmaker Peter Lawrence.

"Peter says that to take a good photo of someone you need to talk to them, interact and get them to relax."  Grace said.

Grace put Peter's advice into practice and as a result has taken several steps on the road to realising her dreams.

"I met international students at the Language Centre. They were very friendly and eager to practise their English by helping me with the process of taking their pictures. It's fantastic to see CQUni helping to make Rockhampton even more of a multicultural society." Grace said.
