CQU Gladstone is holding an Information Evening on Wednesday August 3 for those wanting to find out more about their local university and study options.

There will also be a book sale at the Cyril Golding Library with all books selling for 50 cents.

CQU Community Relations Officer, Shannon Law said the night was for anyone who has ever thought about studying.

“The flexibility of CQU’s programs means that our students come from all different walks of life.

“Some are studying with us while they are still in high school and others are starting study for the first time in their 60s.

“Our students can choose to study at the campus, from home, part-time or full-time which means they can choose the option which best suits their lifestyle.

“Many of our graduates are students who started out with us in the STEPS (bridging) program and even though they had never finished high school they are now university graduates.

“Study at CQU is an option for all Gladstone residents and the Information Evening is an ideal opportunity for people to find out more,” said Ms Law.

The Information Evening will be held on Wednesday August 3, from 5-8pm. For further information please phone Shannon on 4970 7247.
