Great Big Science Gig rocks Mackay Campus
Published on 18 August, 2008
After sell-out shows and 4 national tours, the gang from Great Big Science Gig are back at CQUniversity Mackay campus on Wednesday, August 27, with a brand new show as part of National Science Week 2008 celebrations.
Great music, great demonstrations and great science have been the hallmarks of Great Big Science Gig for 5 years and will keep you laughing, thinking and tapping your toes.
The show combines science demonstrations with songs and audience interaction to create a lively, light but informative science cabaret show.
This year Chris, Darren and Marty will check out earthquake prediction, crocodile immunity, heavy elements, the Ultra Battery, the mysterious world of the potato and much more!
Recommended by 9 out of 10 scientists! Great Big Science Gig is quirky, informative, free and it's fun!
So whether you're a student or adult, science amateur or professional, the Great Big Science Gig has something for all.
Join the crew on August 27 at the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM) facility on campus from 7pm as they look inside the lab and rock out to the latest research from Australia and around the world.
