The CQU Rockhampton Language Centre has welcomed 40 Japanese students to learn not only English, but also about our Aussie culture.
The postgraduate economic students from Meikai University, Chiba (east of Tokyo), and Asahi University, Gifu (near Nagoya), have travelled here on a study tour with their professor, Dr Reiji Miyazaki.
Their English classes will focus on local industries such as tourism, coal and beef.
Students will be in Rockhampton from February 26 until March 17.
