Rockhampton people can get started with Chinese language

Rockhampton people who are interested in getting started with the Chinese Mandarin language are encouraged to get involved with a new 12-week conversational language course at Central Queensland University.
Classes will be offered from March onwards, from 6pm-8pm on Tuesday nights. Particpants will learn through phonics and computer-integrated learning.
A course information session and launch will be held from 6pm on Wednesday, February 13 at the Ocean City Restaurant in Musgrave Street.
Food and refreshments will be provided and RSVPs for the information session can be lodged via Heather Baker on h.baker@cqu.edu.au or 4930 6774.
The course would suit anyone seeking to do business or intending to travel in China or anyone interested in Chinese culture, arts or politics.
The course is offered by the Faculty of Arts, Humanities & Education.
