Achievements of top 80 CQU Mackay students recognised in ceremony

Over 80 Central Queensland University students will be awarded prizes and accept admission into the Golden Key International Honour Society this Friday evening.

The combined annual Awards and Golden Key ceremony will recognise the outstanding efforts of students and those achieving within the top of 15% of undergraduate programs.

Golden Key chapter adviser Holly Perren said about 350 universities around the world belonged to Golden Key, with more than 700 CQU students invited to become members in 2003.

“Membership can boost career opportunities following graduation because about 150 corporations in Australia and Asia recognise Golden Key members,” she said.

“The Society also provides international networking opportunities with 600 organisations in the US and Canada involved with the program.

CQU educators Jo Luck and Arthur Pinkney will become Golden Key honorary members at the event.
