Co-Op graduates stand out from the crowd

Central Queensland University will produce work-ready IT graduates from the recently launched Bachelor of Information Technology Co-operative program – the BIT (Co-op).

Partnerships between CQU and industry enable employers to secure the services of bright, highly-motivated, high-achieving students, with a view to accessing students for employment following graduation.

CQU BIT (Co-op) students benefit greatly from an industry placement. Mixing theory with practical experience helps students to better appreciate the relevance of academic study.

Direct entry to the BIT (Co-op) is available through QTAC. Students can also gain entry to the BIT (Co-op) following two years of successful study in the BIT program.

Interested host employers can contact Troy Dobinson (Careers and Employment Advisor) direct on 4930 9456 or email careers@cqu.edu.au to organise an IT co-op placement for their organisation.
