CQUniversity Rockhampton has put on a fresh face ready for its annual Open Day, so there's plenty for visitors to do and see.

Tours will be available to almost $30 million worth of recent building projects, including the renovated Engineering laboratories, the refurbished library, and the brand new Allied Health Clinic.

Attendees will also have two chances to win on Sunday by entering their details to win an Apple iPad 3 with Wi-Fi + 3G or by getting involved in the #CQUROK Comp to win an MacBook Air.

Visitors are encouraged to 'BE Social' this Open Day, with CQUniversity Australia launching its Instagram and Twitter pages. To enter, attendees simply have to take a photo of the best thing at CQUniversity's Rockhampton Open Day, with the Instagram app and hashtag #CQUROK.

Competition and campus tour details will be available at the information tent on the lawns between the library and the food courtyard.

Entertainment will be provided by Bachelor of Music students and there will be plenty to eat and drink. Children are also catered for with a kids' space including jumping castle and painting area.

Community organisations involved include the Red Frogs with a sausage sizzle. Information booths will be operated by CQ Institute of TAFE, QTAC (Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre) and Skilling Solutions.
