Nursing the way to 50th podcast
Published on 02 December, 2008
Our Professor of Contemporary Nursing, Dr Brenda Happell has the distinction of being featured in the milestone 50th podcast for the International Program of Psycho-Social Health Research series available on the internet.
The podcast features host Michael Bouwman speaking to Professor Happell about her research into the effectiveness of mental health services from the consumer's perspective.
Discussed are issues regarding how routine outcome measurements used to gauge the effectiveness of mental health service treatments have been developed from the perspective of the health professional, but not from the perspective of the consumers who actually use the services.
The podcast, along with transcript and related links will be officially published from December 5 via http://www.ipp-shr.cqu.edu.au/podcasts/?id=50 .
