Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Nursing the way to 50th podcast 

Our Professor of Contemporary Nursing, Dr Brenda Happell has the distinction of being featured in the milestone 50th podcast for the International Program of Psycho-Social Health Research series available on the internet.

The podcast features host Michael Bouwman speaking to Professor Happell about her research into the effectiveness of mental health services from the consumer's perspective.
