Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Trendy fashions, Bonds undies make JC Superstar a funky feature

Jesus Christ Superstar cast members will today be choosing from a shipment of Bonds underwear and trendy fashion labels for tonight’s opening performance at the Pilbeam Theatre.

PhotoID:1019 Female priests and disciples, cheeky Herod dancers and streetwise settings will make this version of the Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Tim Rice musical a unique experience.

The show is presented by Bachelor of Performing Arts degree students at Central Queensland University and will be staged tonight (Friday, Sept 12) and tomorrow night (Saturday, Sept 13), with a Saturday matinee.
