Computer Associates, one of the world's largest management software companies, has signed a 12-month contract with CQU Melbourne to engage Information Technology and Information Systems students on a two-month industry experience program at their Lilydale plant.
Manager of the campus TECC (Training, Employment and Careers Coaching) unit Anne Roubin is pleased with the students’ approach and keenness to be a part of this program.
“Their experience at Computer Associates will place them in a stronger position when applying for I.T. positions. This program is giving our students the opportunity to learn hands-on in a structured environment," she said.
Some 25 students a year will have the opportunity to partake in this joint venture.
