Female grazier gives men dating tips in sell-out book

She’s a fourth-generation grazier, a hands-on business manager of a 25,000 acre cattle and wheat station, a poet and travel writer, and now the author of sell-out dating guide for men.

Nicole Alexander’s 'How To Get A Girl – a glovebox guide for men' is a feisty, fun and informative read which concentrates on getting the dating basics right.

PhotoID:2448 By revealing how the female mind works in a variety of different situations the book explains how men can launch themselves into the dating game, discover increased levels of confidence and, once they have found their girl, sustain the relationship.

From getting up the courage to ask someone out, to getting intimate, giving compliments, avoiding arguments and discovering what she really is thinking, 'How To Get A Girl' is set out in an enticing A to Z format for easy reference and has cleverly placed ‘Tim and Shelley’ scenarios.

Nicole has been a writer for over 16 years. Her poetry, travel and genealogy articles have been published in Australia, America and Singapore.

'How To Get A Girl' is Nicole’s first non-fiction title and the first of a three-book contract recently signed with Sydney based, Kre8 Publishing.

“Having discovered that the majority of dating books written in Australia were either written by men or psychologists I decided to write from the woman’s perspective.

"The result is this handy little guide which has already pre-sold its first print run,” Nicole explains.

No stranger to learning via distance, having spent her early education in correspondence school, Nicole has recently embarked on a Master of Letters (Creative Writing) degree via distance education through Central Queensland University.

Nicole grew up on her family’s property north-west of Moree in northern New South Wales, until moving away to boarding school in Sydney. After completing a Bachelor of Arts through the University of New England, she embarked on a career in marketing, holding managerial roles with companies in Australia and Singapore. She returned to her family’s property 10 years ago.
