Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Book launched in Sydney 

CQU Press launched the fourth novel of High Court Justice Ian Callinan, 'Appointment at Amalfi', at CQU Sydney International Campus on Friday November 14.

The launch speaker was one of the most eminent judges in Australia, Justice Roddy Meagher of the Appeals Court. Campus director Dr Doug Hinchliffe hosted the event.

As MC Professor David Myers told the legal guests about the business and para-legal studies curriculum at CQU-Sydney and introduced our CQU-legal teaching staff.

CQU Press will launch the book 'No Holds Barred', the life story of TWU President Hughie Williams on Saturday December 6. Premier Beattie will launch the book at Suncorp Stadium.
