Nursing students laud lecturer

CQU Rockhampton first-year nursing students have made a special book presentation to their lecturer, Kerry Reid-Searl.

PhotoID:1922 The book, signed by all first years, was presented to Ms Searl immediately after the students sat their exam.

The book was all about teachers and each comment, all individually written by hand, addressed the remarkable ways that which Ms Searl's teaching has touched the students' lives.

Examples ranged from 'I was really not sure if I wanted to be a nurse - after your subject I definitely know I do' and 'you have given me a passion for learning that I never knew I had' to 'you rock dude'.

The presentation ceremony was also attended by Dean of Arts, Health & Sciences Professor Errol Payne and Head of Nursing & Health Studies Dr Lorna Moxham.
