Academic booked for 'sound' project

Dr Karl NeuenfeldtCQU's Dr Karl Neuenfeldt has been awarded a Research Fellowship at the National Film and Sound Archive to produce a book on Torres Strait Islander Culture in Australian Music and Film.
The Bundaberg-based Associate Professor in Contemporary Communication will take up the Fellowship between October and December this year and will visit Canberra for the project.
The National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) has established the Centre for Scholarly and Archival Research (CSAR) to encourage and facilitate research into Australia's historic and contemporary moving image and recorded sound culture.
