Uni can 'get some satisfaction' feedback, thanks to staff efforts

CQUniversity has not only recognised course coordinators whose courses scored highly for student satisfaction. It has also congratulated those who have solicited the highest course evaluation response rates.

Professor Rob Reed explained that course coordinators and teaching teams already have access to the detailed feedback for their courses and will be able to use this information to close the loop with their students, as part of the course enhancement process.

Meanwhile, Dr Pierre Viljoen has recognised academics who were able to solicit the highest response rates from their students.

In his role as Pro Vice-Chancellor (Community & Engagement), Dr Viljoen said "one of the most important areas where we can engage, is in the classroom, building positive, supportive and trusting relationships with our students.  Students who find themselves in positive relationships are usually also more open to provide constructive feedback when requested".
