Health and Human Performance team choose hairy fundraiser for 'Movember'

You may have heard about 'Movember', a charity raising money for the men's health issues of depression and cancer.

The Channel 9 morning crew is heavily into promoting it.

During the month of November, men everywhere are growing a moustache and raising funds towards this worthy cause.

PhotoID:3616 Not to be outdone the virile gentlemen of the School of Health and Human Performance are in the middle of growing some amazing moustaches for a worthy cause.

Were you aware that every year in Australia, 2700 men die of prostate cancer; that's greater than the number of women who die from breast cancer? Depression is affecting 1 in 6 men, and most aren’t seeking help. Untreated depression is a leading risk factor for suicide. These figures obtained from the 'Movember' website are staggering and warrant further research.

Your help in fighting these horrible scourges of society is needed.
