Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Mackay kids enjoy Under 8s Week event

Mackay kids and their carers recently played while learning about the environment during a Bush to Beach at the Gardens event, held on Friday, May 6, on the grass outside the cafe at the Lagoon Street Botanic Gardens. 

This morning of activities for young children was hosted by CQUniversity's Bachelor of Learning Management students, as part of their Advocacy, Leadership and Change in Early Childhood project.
