CQU Head of Nursing & Health Studies Dr Lorna Moxham is looking forward to representing Australian nurses on behalf of DEST (Department of Education, Science and Training) during a major event on October 18 in Manila in The Philippines.
Dr Moxham will be a speaker for the 47th annual convention of the Association of Deans of Philippine Colleges of Nursing (ADPCN).
She will speak on the 'latest developments in Australian nursing and college management'.
A total of 500 participants are expected to attend the convention, which includes college administrators, deans and faculty members from the nursing education sector.
"This is an exciting opportunity for CQU and is fully funded by DEST," Dr Moxham said.
