Campus capers boost Pink Ribbon cash

Around 70 staff members turned out for the Pink Ribbon Breakfast fundraiser hosted at Capricornia College by CQU's Office of Development on Monday (October 22).

All present enjoyed food, fellowship and light-hearted (or should it be light-hatted) antics to support research into breast cancer.

DVC Professor Angela Delves attended the event and noted that breast cancer touched most people in some way.

Office of Development Manager Suzi Blair thanked Reegan Bickey for sparking the organisation of the event which raised hundreds of dollars for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Organisers collected $361.45 in donations and sold $215 of Pink Ribbon merchandise.
