FSD renovations brighten office

Formerly dull and not too cosy, Financial Services Division recently underwent a long overdue D.I.Y., low budget renovation.
Management and staff set about implementing a few simple solutions to make their Level 2 work environment lighter, more organised and inviting. With the “Set” Director, Pippa Croucamp calling the shots and “Production Manager”, Geoff May and his trusty “Production Assistant”, Cindy Adams coordinating the DIY renovations (which included floor plan design, removalist and storage coordination), the FSD Team brightened up a once dull and cluttered office and transformed it into a more energised, open plan work environment.
Walls, furniture and even storage units were in desperate need of a fresh new look. Drab walls were adorned with colourful pictures and offices emptied of clutter to become places to work and share ideas.
The most expensive item in the office makeover was the hiring of a commercial recycling unit to shred some 80 cubic metres of paper which comprised of outdated files and records. An additional eight Ute loads of auditable records were transported to a local self-storage unit for safekeeping. Needless to say everyone was thoroughly exhausted, but extremely satisfied after discarding much of the old as they made way for a new era in FSD.
The last of the ‘makeovers’ took place last Friday, with Ian Dudley and the Supply Team moving down a floor into the old Credit Union Office.
