Lecturer contributes to ABS Year Book

Central Queensland University’s Health and Human Performance lecturer Danya Hodgetts has made her mark in the Australian Bureau of Statistics 2007 Year Book.

PhotoID:3809 Ms Hodgetts contributed to an article on Surf Life Saving Australia for the new edition which is to be launched this week.

The year book provides a comprehensive and detailed statistical overview of various aspects of our great nation.

The 2007 volume will contain 30 chapters dealing with Australia’s geography and climate, government, international relations, defence, education and health and welfare support systems, to name just a few.

It will also celebrate 100 years of continuous service to the nation by Australian volunteer lifesavers. Lifesavers are honoured by being featured on the cover and by the inclusion of an article contributed by Surf Lifesaving Australia.

The year book will be officially released on January 24.
