Fair a big success

Last Sunday's CQU Multicultural Fair and University Open Day was probably the most successful yet.

Coordinator of the event Gina Yarrow said the numbers of visitors and program inquiries were better than previous years.

PhotoID:3139 “Each area was jam packed with people throughout the day, so the staff was kept very busy with inquiries and information sessions,” Ms Yarrow said.

“The market, food and cultural display stall holders were very pleased with the outcome of the day as they were inundated with people wanting to look, buy, taste and listen to their particular offerings.

“The irresistible smell of the diverse cuisine wafted across the campus and people were drawn to each food area to taste their wares".

PhotoID:3140 Ms Yarrow said all in all it was a most satisfying day for everyone involved.
