Paramedic Science on display in field hospital
Published on 02 August, 2012
As part of a recent Emergency Services day, CQUniversity staged a Paramedic Science display in the Queensland Ambulance Services Tactical Field Hospital.
First-year and second-year students helped out by showcasing high-tech manikins, taking blood pressures and doing cardiac monitoring.
Two of our second-year students had an opportunity to be involved in a mock road traffic crash, meaning they were able to rub shoulders with paramedics, the fire service and the police service during the simulated car accident.
