The latest award was for Teaching Excellence in the area of Biological Science and Health-related studies.
Not only did Professor Reid-Searl win one of the country's most prestigious learning and teaching awards, she also receives $25,000 to reinvest in her teaching methods and professional development.
This award is in addition to the citation for 'outstanding contributions to student learning' that Kerry received two months ago from the Australian Office for Learning and Teaching.
CQUniversity's Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching) Professor Rob Reed says "this is indeed a very prestigious award for both Kerry and for CQUniversity".
"In fact it is a first for a member of staff at CQUniversity to receive an award for Teaching Excellence in our 20-year history as a University!"
