Rocky 'Horrors' in bullring of Lee Kernaghan's hotel

The 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' movie screenings with live performers - dubbed \'Horrors in Rocky' - are back again at Lee Kernaghan's Great Western Hotel bullring.

PhotoID:794 Around 800 people enjoyed last year's inaugural event, and this year\'s rendition will be at 7.30pm and 10pm on Saturday, September 20.

The movie shows feature live performances and audience participation led by Bachelor of Performing Arts students from CQU's Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music.

Co-organiser Barbara Harwood, from Rockhampton Tourist and Business Information, said the event would also be a 30th anniversary celebration of the birth of Rocky Horror as a stage show in London in 1973.

PhotoID:795 Ms Harwood said that, since the success of the inaugural shows, inquiries had come from as far afield as Germany and throughout Australia.

"Where else can you see Rocky Horror in a bullring but in Rocky," she said.
