Music to flood the senses

Orchestral and symphonic music will flow throughout St Paul's Cathedral from 6.30pm on Wednesday, April 20, when 100 Central Queensland secondary school musicians dedicate their concert performance to CQ flood families.

The concert, which sold out last year, will be the culmination of a week-long intensive music workshop in April (16-21) organised by the Southern Cross Soloists and known as the SunWater and Stanwell Music School.

"Music influences our moods and we sincerely hope that the 2011 finale recital will help to lift the collective spirit of Rockhampton and Central Queensland," said organiser Sara Bannon.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased via Southern Cross Soloists. Learn more at www.southernxsoloists.com/
