Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Melbourne Campus networks with Project Management community

A special interest group of the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) has been holding meetings at CQUniversity Melbourne International Campus...

This Project Managers Professional Development group was formed in June 2006 to provide a forum to discuss Project Management issues and experiences.

PhotoID:7551 Guest speakers and group members are invited to deliver a presentation or lead discussion on Project Management-related topics.

The informal forum offers like-minded people looking for contacts and advice the opportunity to share experiences and learn from others.     

Students and staff who have attended these presentations found them most interesting. Free membership to the group has been offered to our students.
