First visit to CQU by Chinese joint venturer
Published on 03 November, 2004
This week marks the first visit to CQU Rockhampton by representatives of Sichuan Normal University (SNU), which is seeking to strengthen a relationship established with CQU over the past two years.
SNU and CQU have been operating a collaborative trial program to produce business graduates ready to operate in the global economy.
The visit repays previous visits to SNU by CQU senior staff and academics in recent years.
SNU has about 30,000 students and is based in Chengdu – China’s fourth largest city.
This week’s visit will focus on extending the relationship into postgraduate education and research areas.
In a busy week for CQU, the University will also conduct graduation ceremonies for its students based in Singapore and Hong Kong.
