Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Students from CQU's Singapore operation pay visit 

Three of CQU’s Singaporean students and a staff member from the University’s Singapore partner (Hartford Institute) visited Rockhampton Campus this week.

PhotoID:1932 The students are among 137 Singaporeans enrolled in CQU’s Bachelor of Science (Psychology) degree, which has been offered in that country for four years.

The goodwill visit included meetings with CQU psychology academics, CQU International staff members and other University representatives.
