Central Queensland University's literary magazine Idiom 23 will host writers' workshops in the centre of the Byfield Rainforest, the hinterland of the Capricorn Coast, from September 7 to 9.

With first class tutors and some exciting exploration of the rainforest and Waterpark Creek (one of the most unique ecosystems in the world), writers attending the workshops should have plenty of inspiration.

Poets and storytellers Jena Woodhouse, Kristen Hannaford, Louise Waller, Mark Svendsen, Komninos Zervos, and lecturers Lynda Hawryluk and Geoff Danaher have provided many excellent workshops in the past and several Queensland authors are again keen to tutor the 2007 workshops.
