Melbourne organises women's health information sessions

The first of a series of information sessions on women’s health was organised by Client Services at CQU Melbourne International Campus in conjunction with the Royal Women’s Hospital.

This relaxed and informal session was attended by an intimate group of female students representing a wide range of cultures. This was an exclusive setting for female students, providing a safe environment where they asked a multitude of questions relating to love, relationships, safety and health.

Students talked freely about personal issues affecting them as women. Brochures were also distributed to participants by the Women’s Health nurse.

The Campus is increasing its promotion and awareness of safety and health issues affecting its students, including information on support services, referrals and advice.
