Bob marks 42 years in media with longest-running radio spot

CQU's Bob O'Sullivan is proud of his 12-year association with a radio segment on ABC Coast FM, helping him to notch up 42 years in the media.

PhotoID:3532 "I have been contributing this segment for 12 years. It is the longest-running program segment on the station, having morphed from a structured book review to 'Bob Chat' which covers books, topical happenings and anything else that may interest the local audience," he said.

Mr O'Sullivan, the Acting Head of Arts and Creative Enterprise in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Education, is keen to maintain an active role in the media.

"This contribution to ABC programming means that I am still a practising broadcaster after some 42 years of media involvement, starting with newspapers in 1964 and moving into radio in 1971," he said.
