Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Bike 4 Life is 'wheelie' fun, registrations now open 

Riders of all ages and abilities have the chance to take part in the second annual CQUni Bike4Life event, conducted by Rockhampton Cycling Club and  Rockhampton Regional Council in partnership with CQUniversity...

Departing from the CQUniversity Sports Centre on Sunday, July 31, there'll be a 5 x 1km Tour de University loop, a 25km Tour of the Town, a 60km Cawarral Circuit and 100km Beach Bashes Circuit.

Participation in this event is free for the Tour de University and $15, $20 and $25 respectively for the longer distances.
