Better outcomes for indigenous students

Up to 200 local teachers and educational advisers recently joined university students and lecturers at a weeklong CQU Rockhampton event aimed at boosting educational outcomes for indigenous students.

Co-organiser Pat Moran, from Central Queensland University, said topics for discussion included cultural awareness and learning frameworks.

Ms Moran said the event would help shape indigenous education modules of CQU’s Bachelor of Learning Management degree.
