General Manager for John Holland Group Brendan Petersen chatted with students Garth Kath, Richard Lewis and Madonna Jones after his presentation of The Four P's this week.He said it was hard enough for those in the workforce to keep up-to-date with industry changes, so it is vital university students are provided with the opportunity to learn about the industry from those on the ground.
CQUniversity's Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean Professor Elizabeth Taylor said the Engineers for the Future program reinforces the University's strong commitment to provide graduate engineers who are ready for the workforce.
She said this new partnership with the John Holland Group showed how industry can make an impact on new graduates through work integrated learning.

In a prelude to the Vice-Chancellor’s inaugural public lecture this week, Professor Scott Bowman said he believed this partnership was one of the many ways he hopes to direct the university into the future as one of Australia’s most engaged universities.
