Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

See new movie and benefit support network 

The Rockhampton Domestic Violence Network will be hosting an early screening of the new animated movie “ Treasure Planet”, which is based on the children’s classic Treasure Island. The Rockhampton Senstadium will screen “ Treasure Planet” at 10am, Sunday 15 December.

Tickets must be pre purchased from either CQU- Counselling Careers and Health, Building 31; VOCA – Level 1 Courthouse; or Lifeline – K mart Plaza.
