Check out 10,000 Steps' new website

Physical Activity program 10,000 Steps is encouraging people to visit its new website at www.10000steps.org.au.

The website, hosting a new fresh look and loads more features still allows individuals to register for FREE to have their own Step Log.

PhotoID:2972 The Step Log allows you to record and monitor your physical activity through entering your steps from a step-counting pedometer.

For those that enjoy activities that aren’t counted by a pedometer there is even a calculator that will convert your distance and time into steps.

A new feature of the website is the Individual Challenges (I-Challenges). These Challenges have goals that are achievable for one person. There will be a new Challenge every month.

PhotoID:2973 The I-Challenges are fun, easy to join and there are great prizes to be won.

Queensland Health provided the funding to Central Queensland University for the development of 10,000 Steps.
