Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Campuses to celebrate International Nurses Day 

CQUniversity's Rockhampton, Mackay and Bundaberg campuses will host functions to celebrate International Nurses Day on Tuesday, May 12.

In Rockhampton, a breakfast (7.30am-9.30am) function will be held at the Capricornia College (Senior Common Room), with presentations from students and staff and a special guest appearance. Details and RSVPs are via Amelia Tomlinson via a.tomlinson@cqu.edu.au or 4923 2428.
