While he is now based in Canberra, his work takes him across Australia and frequently back to Wide Bay and Central Queensland.

Mr Kelly gained a high distinction for Public Sector Management and won the academic prize for that subject. He also passed Managing in a Dynamic Environment with a high distinction and Human Resource Management with a distinction.

“My course in Public Sector Management helped me gain an understanding of the changing nature of the public service, and a focus on delivering sound outcomes through responsible policies,” he said.

The program also developed and improved my communication skills and ability to lead.

“My career has been enhanced through both the courses and my experience at CQU, and I look forward to completing the next components of the MBA program.”
