ABOUT THE CQ COLLECTION

The Capricornia CQ Collection, more commonly known as the CQ Collection, contains resources that relate to the Central Queensland region. This region extends from the off-shore islands between Bundaberg and Mackay, westward to the Northern Territory border.

The CQ Collection maintains historical and recent material in a variety of formats, including books, reports, newspapers, photographs, maps, and records and other manuscripts relating to local people, groups and organisations. The Thozet medals are the first medals the CQ Collection has acquired.
