Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Cousins graduate together 

Cousins Blake Harvey and Terri-Maree Greentree graduated together last Saturday at CQU Rockhampton.

PhotoID:2177 Coming from a family of engineers, Blake, 22, graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (1st Class Honours) and Terri-Maree, 35, graduated with her Master of Management.

Terri-Maree is currently the Human Resource Manager of a new Brisbane company BFC (Boating, Fishing and Camping).
