ITD launches new website

CQU's Information Technology Division (ITD) has introduced a new, user-friendly website for the convenience of University staff and students.

Client Service Centre Manager Donna-Lee Bradford said the new website, http://www.itd.cqu.edu.au/, will be a “work in progress”, where over the next few months it will become a valuable resource for staff and students.

PhotoID:1709 The website provides information about the division, downtime notifications and IT related issues.

Under both staff and student categories there are links to information on service level agreements, accounts, getting online, email, logging a request, mailing lists, telephones, FAQ's, software and education technology requests.

The website project began in March 2003 and went live last month.

Staff actively involved in the project of development and getting the new website online were Nathan White, Donna-Lee Bradford, Shaune Sinclair, Allan Honeysett and Andrew Whyte.

"We encourage staff and student's feedback, suggestions and comments in order to improve the site," Ms Bradford said.

All contact regarding the website should be made by contacting the ITD Helpdesk.
