Prawn two - be wild

It’s not called the ‘silly season’ for nothing.

Lecturer with the Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Kim Kirkman, will lead a wonderfully entertaining concert at the Conservatorium Theatre entitled “Prawn Two - Be Wild” this Monday December 12 at 8pm.

Bringing a feast of song, strings and silliness, this concert will feature Sub-Dean Judith Brown on piano; Kirsten Kerr on violin; Cameron Waters of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra on cello; Beth Allen as vocalist; and Kim Kirkman on viola and voice.

According to Kim, “Last years concert entitled ‘Two Roses between the Prawns’ was a fabulously fun and successful night, so we decided to continue with the Prawn theme for another year".

Why Prawns?.

“Well, it’s summer and prawn season is upon us,” said Judith.

“Christmas is coming up and what’s Christmas without a Prawn?” said Kim.
