Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Graduates from 28 nations attend Sydney ceremony 

A total of 236 graduates from 28 nations are due to attend CQUniversity's graduation ceremony at Sydney Town Hall, from 2pm on Thursday, September 9.

They'll hear from guest speaker Emeritus Professor Alan Knight, who can draw on four decades as a top journalist and academic to shape his address.

Master of Business Administration (Human Resources Management) graduate Liudmila Arnautova will deliver a closing address on behalf of the graduates.

Liudmila is one of two State Director's award winners. The other is Bachelor of Accounting graduate Ravshan Usmanov.
