Careers Counsellor in Rockhampton Raleigh Wallace.To help students make the right career decision, CQUniversity is offering free career advice for students in Rockhampton, Mackay, Gladstone, Bundaberg and Noosa.
CQUniversity's Manager of the Student Support Centre Mary McLeod said career advisers will be available to discuss career and study options, alternative entry into university and general career goals.
"Our career advisors provide a professional careers service by discussing a student's interests, skills and aspirations, and matching these to possible career and study paths."
Appointments can be made for face-to-face interviews or over the phone consultations, while students can also receive advice via email.
CQUniversity is also offering accommodation scholarships for approved commencing students.
The scholarship provides for full board (room and meals) at the Capricornia College Rockhampton.
The scholarships are available for the first year of study of an undergraduate program with some available for the duration of an undergraduate program.
The University is also offering drought assistance scholarships to help regional families and students who have experienced financial hardship caused by drought to gain access and succeed at university.
Scholarships are valued at $5000 for the first year of study for those commencing an undergraduate program at CQUniversity.
