Our researchers featured at Rail showcase in Brisbane

CQU researchers are among those featured on the program for the Railway Technology Showcase arranged by the Rail CRC on June 7-8 in Brisbane.
The Rail CRC (Cooperative Research Centre for Railway Engineering and Technologies) event will be held at the Novotel in Creek Street.
Professor Peter Wolfs, Chris Bosomworth and Mitch McClanachan are involved in research behind the session on the Rail CRC OZ-ECP brake product to deliver increased capacity and cost savings.
Professor Wolfs, Chris Bosomworth and Dr Fujie Xia are involved in research behind the session on the Health Card product to provide on-board intelligence to improve rail safety.
A session on 'Industry Intelligence - Modelling tools deliver multiple benefits to industry' involves the work of CQU's Dr Colin Cole, Scott Simpson, Mitch McClanachan, Dr Fujie Xia, Dr Eric Li and Dr Chankyoung Park.
Dr Anna Thomas is presenting about Rail Innovation Australia, a project to take Rail CRC intellectual property to the rail industry. Other CQU representatives involved are Dr Colin Cole, Chris Bosomworth, Mitch McClanachan and Adam Thompson.
Meanwhile, Associate Professor Ken Kwong is involved in the education display on postgraduate programs.
