Engaging Indigenous people within Higher Ed

CQUniversity's Office of Indigenous Engagement recently hosted a visit from the Oodgeroo Unit of Queensland University of Technology (QUT), at Rockhampton Campus.

Professor Anita Lee Hong, Director of the Oodgeroo Unit, and Lone Pearce, Project Officer, met with Office of Indigenous Engagement staff to discuss employment issues and best practice models for engaging Indigenous people within the higher education sector, including governance matters.

Tenor Paul Tabone has 'earthy' role in Brisbane 

CQUniversity graduate Paul Tabone will join soprano Leslie Martin to present a range of beautiful operatic, operetta and music theatre pieces by candlelight in support of Earth Hour 2011.

The 4MBS Classical FM Earth Hour Opera Recital by Candlelight will be presented from 8pm on Saturday March 26 at the Albert Street Uniting Church in central Brisbane).

It will feature music from La Boheme, Carmen, La Traviata, Romeo et Juliet, Die Fledermaus, The Land of Smiles, Tosca and much more!
